                                         Felix, Clinic Cat #1

Felix came to the hospital in October 1999 as a young kitten.  He was found in a dumpster and was brought to our hospital to treat a cut on his paw.  Dr. Smith decided to take Felix for her Mom and to make a long story short.....he is still here! Watch out he has an A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E!

                                                       JITTERBUG

Jitterbug came to the hospital in 2003 with a neurological disorder called cerebellar hypoplasia.  Her mom, who was not vaccinated, was infected with a virus when she was pregnant with her.  Jitterbug's sense of balance is affected and she has difficulty walking.  She severely fractured her right hind leg and we were unable to repair it.  As a result she had to have the leg amputated.   Although she has come a long way since her surgery she will never be able to balance properly on three legs.  Even with all of her issues, she is still the happiest, most loveable cat and she is a treat to have here with us.
